DETAILS

Learn a skill which is useful for employment or just to improve your computer skills generally.  Suitable for beginners or those who want to develop their skills.  Start at whatever stage you need to, in a friendly workshop environment.

 

Stage 1

Gain sufficient skill to carry out the production of simple business documents.   Produce a notice for display, an article and a simple table.

Stage 2

Produce lists of alphabetical and numerical/chronological information, tables and standard documents.

Stage 3

Produce from handwritten and typewritten drafts, recalled text, and supplementary information, a variety of complex and/or specialist business documents including a multi-page report, a two-column article and a landscape table with a ruling.

 

Other Qualifications

You can also take other OCR qualifications up to diploma level.

 

ASSESSMENT

Examinations at most stages can be taken in January, March, May and June.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Reasonably good command of English.
