MEMBERSHIP
FEE
Every
student becomes a member of the college and pays a membership/registration fee
when they enrol. This allows you to do as many courses as you like in the year.
It is non-refundable.
COURSE
AND CERTIFICATE FEE
There
is usually a course fee to pay for each subject you study, and an examination or
certificate fee. Details of these costs are shown in the prospectus.
FEE
REMISSION
You
will not be asked to pay a course fee if you are:
Unemployed
and in receipt of Job seekers Allowance
In
receipt of a means - tested benefit
The
unwaged dependant of those listed above
In
receipt of an "Award Notice" for the Working Families Tax Credit.

INDIVIDUAL
LEARNING ACCOUNTS
Individual
learning accounts offer a range of discounts on the costs of learning. Once you
open an account you can benefit from the following discounts:
If
you are one of the first million to open an account you receive £150 off the
cost of learning when you put in £25 of your own money.
80%
off the cost of a limited number of computer literacy and maths courses. (Up to
£200)
20%
off the cost of a wide range of courses (up to £100). You can benefit from a
maximum of £200 worth of discounts in any one year.
ACCESS
FUND
This
fund gives financial support to students to help with additional costs
associated with Further Education. You
may be eligible for help with the cost of:
Books,
Transport, Exam costs, Childcare
