There are three modules

 

Module 1

Cognitive Psychology – Memory

Developmental Psychology – Attachments in Development

 

Module 2

Physiological Psychology – Stress

Individual Difference – Definitions and Models of Abnormality

 

Module 3

Social Psychology – Social Influence

Research Methods

 

ASSESSMENT

Module 1 – 1 hour exam

Module 2 – 1 hour exam

Module 3 – 1 ¼ exam

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

GCSE Psychology, or interview with tutor.

 

COURSE MATERIALS

Writing materials. Text book as advised by tutor.

 

DURATION

32 weeks at 2 ½ hours class time, PLUS 1 hour coursework session.  Students should also undertake a minimum of 2 hours individual study.
