DETAILS

The course is divided into 3 modules and the exams for each module can be taken separately over 1 or 2 years.  The modules are:

 

Money Management and Number

Statistics and Probability

Terminal Module (Shape, Space and Algebra + Applications)

 

ASSESSMENT

Money Management and Statistics Modules

2 exam papers each worth 10%

 

Statistics & Probability

2 exams worth 10%

 

Terminal Module

3 exam papers each worth 20%

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A good grasp of basic numeracy

 

COURSE MATERIALS

Writing materials. Text book as advised by tutor.

 

DURATION

32 weeks at 2 1/2 hours class time.  Students should also undertake a minimum of 2 hours individual study.
