Entering for your Exams

After the Christmas break the College has to formally enter candidates for their exams.

In January your tutor will discuss with you for which tier you will be entered.

You will be given an exam entry form, which you must fill in and take to reception with your exam fee.

If you have any difficulties paying your exam fees you must speak to Linda Carroll (College Services Manager) as soon as possible and she will give you further advice.

Once you have been entered, the exam board will send a statement of entry which will be passed on to you. Make sure the details shown on it are correct – if not speak to Linda Carroll. Keep your statement of entry safe – you will need the candidate number for your exams.

The exam

Make sure you know when your exams are. It is not possible to change them.

You should arrive at least fifteen minutes before your exam is due to start.

Getting your Results

Results are posted to the College in August. (The actual date will be confirmed)

You can collect them in person the afternoon they arrive. We are unable to give out results over the phone. If you are unable to collect them they will be posted to you the following day.

Certificates usually arrive in the Autumn. You will receive a letter telling you when they have arrived.
