DETAILS

This course is suitable for those familiar with double entry bookkeeping who would like to learn how to process routine transactions, amendments, error corrections and reports using SAGE accounting software on a computerised system.

 

ASSESSMENT

Students must complete a 2-hour practical exam covering all three sections of the course.

Process routine transactions

Produce routine reports

Marks are awarded for

Concepts – selecting the correct accounts and records

Accuracy – entering and amending the correct figure and text

Performance – setting up records and producing reports as specified

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
